Sub:- School Education Field Visits of the Principal Secretary /CSE/Directors/RJDSEs (School Education) to the O/o the Mandal Educational Officers-Updation of Registers-certain instructions-Issued.

Ref:- Visit of the Principal Secretary to Government, School Education Department to Dr.B.R.Ambedkar Konaseema District on 27.01.2024.

The attention of all the Mandal Educational Officers of Zone-II is invited to the reference cited and they are informed that the Principal Secretary to Government, School Education Department has inspected certain High Schools and O/o the Mandal Educational Officers in Dr.B.R.Ambedkar Konaseema Districts on 27.01.2024. During the visits, the Principal Secretary has noticed certain lapses with regards to maintenance of the office records in the office of the Mandal Educational Officers.

In this regard, all the Mandal Educational Officers of Zone-II Districts are instructed to update the following registers of their office on or before 07.02.2024 and submit compliance to the undersigned promptly.

1. Inward and Outward Registers
2. Last Inspection report and its rectification report
3. Annual tour programme approved by the District Educational Officer concerned
4. Monthly tour programmes as on date
5. Tour Dairy
6. Cadre Strength watch Register
7. Register showing the particulars of teachers trainings
8. Periodical increment Register
9. Vacancy position Register
10. Census Register
11. Watch Register of MRs/Reviews
12. Casual Leave Register
13. Other than C.L. Register
14. Register of Service Regularization
15. Register of Service Registers
16. Registers of NT Books
17. Registers of MDM
18. Registers of Right to Information ACT-2005
19. Acquaintance Register
20. LPC Register
21. Register of Contributory Pension Scheme
22. Increments watch Register
23. Cash Book
24. Treasury Bill Register
25. Pay Bill Register
26. TA Bill Register
27. House Building Advance Recovery Watch Register

Further, the District Educational Officers are directed to review the tour dairies of the Mandal Educational Officers in their jurisdiction and submit compliance reports along with their performance appraisal reports to the undersigned before 5th of every month and also ensure that there are at least 2 inspections, 20 visits and 2 night halts in a month.

Any lapses found by the higher officials during their field visits to offices of the MEOs, the concerned Mandal Educational Officers are held responsible and necessary action will be initiated against them as per rules in force.

This should be treated as important and necessary action should be taken immediately.
