ABSTRACT

HOLIDAYS Declaration of Holiday under Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 on the eve of UGADI on 02.04.2022 (SATURDAY) – Notification-Issued.

GENERAL ADMINISTRATION (POLL.B) DEPARTMENT

Read the following:

1) G.O.Rt.No.1998, General Administration (Poll.B) Department, dated:26.11.2021.

2) From All India Bank Officer’s Federation, AP State Unit, Vijayawada Lr. No. Nil Dt:14.03.2022. 

3) From United Forum of Bank Unions, AP State Unit, Hyd, Lr.No.Govt/2022/01, dated 12.03.2022.

4) From the General Secretary, A.P Co-operative Bank Employees Assn Letter dated 24.03.2022.

ORDER:

In the G.O. 1st read above, Government have issued orders notifying holidays under Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 for the year 2022.

2. In the letters 2nd to 4th read above, the Secretary, All India Bank Officer’s Federation, A.P State Unit Vijayawada, Convenor, United Forum of Bank Unions, A.P State Unit, Hyderabad and General Secretary, A.P Co-operative Bank Employees Association have requested to declare 02.04.2022 as holiday on the eve of “UGADI” under Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881.

3. After careful consideration of the matter, Government have decided to declare Holiday on 02.04.2022 (SATURDAY) on the occasion of UGADI under Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881. Accordingly. the following notification is issued and shall be published in the extraordinary Gazette of Andhra Pradesh.

NOTIFICATION

“In Partial modification of the orders issued in G.O.Rt.No.1998, General Administration (Poll.B) Department, dated: 26.11.2021, Government hereby declare 02.04.2022 (SATURDAY) as Holiday on the occasion of UGADI under Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881”.
