All the District Educational Officers and Additional Project Coordinators in the State are hereby informed that the the Govt. of India has initiated 100 days Reading Campaign "from 06-01-2022 with an objective to promote the habit of reading among children and to fulfill the learning gap under NIPUN Bharat, FLN mission in schools under all managements by dividing children into 3 groups.Group 1: Balvatika to Class II, Group 2: Class III to Class V,Group 3: Class VI to Class VIII.

Hence, the Govt. of India has instructed to issue necessary. instructions for dissemination of the the information on organizing work shops and Language Mela on the closure of 100 days Reading Campaign on 18-4-2022 with number of activities to showcase the reading skills of the children by the following activities like Storytelling, Story reading, word games, word building games, Cross word puzzles, Recitation of Poems, Spell Bee, News Reading, Elocution, Drawing and Paintings, closure campaign Skits, Language game Special competition -Digital Story Reading- Display of Library books and performance details of the children during the academic year. 

In view of the above, the District Educational Officers and Ex-Officio Project Coordinators and Additional Project Coordinators in the State are hereby requested to conduct above activities at all schools in the state by creating festive atmosphere of language mela on 18-4-2022.
